Day 01 (Thu): Depart Bima
Leave Bali, fly to Bima. Transfer to the harbour and board the Baruna Explorer to start the cruise.
Day 02 (Fri): Komodo National Park & Pink Beach
Komodo's big attraction is the giant lizard also known as the Komodo dragon, the original and only habitat of this giant pre-historic reptile in the world. A park ranger will escort you across the Island to a viewing point to watch the "Varanus Komodoensis" at a very close range. Enjoy the isolated beach and underwater gardens of Pink Beach with swimming and snorkeling.
Day 03 (Sat): Rinca & Bugis Island
This morning you will land at Rinca, an island located east of Komodo which also belongsto the National Park. Another opportunity to see the komodo dragons (as there is a possibility you will not see any dragons at all or maybe just one or two species on Komodo. At Rinca you will see wild bulls which are not found on komodo island. In the afternoon you will arrive at Bugis, located north of komodo an isolated and unoccupied small island. Swim and snorkel the rest of the afternoon on the beautiful whitesand beach of the island.
Day 04 (Sun): Bima
An early morning arrival in Bima. This busy traditional harbour of East Sumbawa gives you the opportunity for a half-day excursion. You will visit the local market, the palace of the last Sultan of Bima which is now a museum with collection of artifacts and old weapons. Afterward transfer to the airport for your return flight to Bali
Fly from Bali to Bima on Monday for the opposite program.
