Amed (also known as Jemeluk). Touched by coral bleaching in the mid - 1990's, this site is recovering steadily. A mixture of wall and drift dives, where you'll see schools of bat fish, gorgonian fans and large coral bommies. At times large pelagics have been spotted, like the 2 whale sharks on one dive, and you may spot occasional mantas and reef sharks.
Two main dive sites are located here, "Right" and "Left", both of which are dived by a jukung. This site is a good diversion from Tulamben and a great addition to a Safari on the northern coast. Intermediate to Experienced.
